When mortal Man will be the only one remaining to rule Middle-Earth. Dost thou believe that the Valar will look upon your race, doomed to die with favor? The Great Ones of the West have turned their back on you, for you worship only Iluvatar, the One God that you have believed in. His Fifteen have governed all of Arda for 46,002 years; with homage paid only by Us, the Chosen. The fate of Man and all the mortal races of the world no longer concern us, for on this last ship, the remaining Elves depart this world for good. And I, who have watched over these Grey Havens for nigh on 7,000 years, will board this final ship as well. Thus marks the passing of the Elves, and the beginning of the ages of Man. Farewell to thee mortal.
